Part 2 - The Belly Mapping® Method Session
Perceive
The Belly Mapping® Method is a three-step process for identifying baby’s position in the final months of pregnancy.
The three steps are to 1) map the movements, 2) identify body parts and visualize baby's position, and 3) name the position using the Fetal Compass Rose by Gail Tully.
Parents can use the Belly Mapping® Method for their own enjoyment and education. The main goal of the Belly Mapping® Method is to enhance the parent’s ability to identify baby parts and to gain a sense of baby’s position and understand how baby's position can influence labor and birth.
Buy a print or E-book copy of The Belly Mapping® Method book.
Part 3 - Turning Kicks and Wiggles Into Art
Create
At the end of the Belly Mapping® Method Session, you can deepen your connection with your baby and use your understanding of your baby's position for a creative bonding time by painting your baby's position, either directly, using safe body paint, or onto a white T-shirt using fabric paint for a more permanent keepsake.
